Not wanting to get completely left behind by the current technology wave, I've been trying to learn what I can about A.I. (artificial intelligence). And someone told me that I could improve my understanding by using it to build something. So, I decided to try my hand at using an A.I. music tool (Moises Studio) to complete the instrumentation on a collection of songs I wrote decades ago.

When the 1970’s Jesus Music band I was in (Children of the Light) stopped touring, I went into a studio, and with just my voice over either piano or guitar, I laid down a batch of my songs the group was never able to record. These tunes have sort of remained in a vault for the past 50 years. So, I decided to bust them out and see if I could complete them. The learning curve and limitations of the technology have required me to spend many, many, many hours in front of my computer, but I've had a blast seeing these songs reborn. I’ve caught myself laughing out loud with pure joy when I’ve been able to coax the A.I. to make them sound the way I’ve always heard them in my head. And I’ve also shed a lot of “good” tears when my throat tightened with emotion and my eyes leaked as I relived the experiences with Jesus that birthed them.
